They turn off the photosynthesis process that’s what causes the decrease in the pigment and the chlorophyll breaks down. You see, leaves get their green color from chlorophyll. Its pigment actually masks the leaves’ true yellow and brown color all summer long.
So, we need to learn from nature and be more like trees. Be aware that dark times are coming and prepare. Don’t be afraid to show your true colors when times get tough and we may need to get rid of the things that we don’t really need to survive the hard times ahead.
